I read an article today by Dr Bart Ehrman who said that many parts of the Bible were written by impostors and were lies. I am not surprised but I am surprised that some people still believe in the veracity of this book. Another article I read was that there may be 2 billion more alien earth in our galaxy with the possibility of life in some of them – what will happen to religion if this is proven right? That is interesting to think about.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't doubt the Bible is mostly made up. I watched something that had a 40 year gap between Jesus's death and the first book of the bible. Sounds like some type of scam. The Kepler spacecraft finding so many planets is so cool. But given how hard it is to convince the religious that evolution is true, they'll find some excuse or rationale to why god did it. I recently read a novel on the subject, Jesuit priests going to a planet where a signal is received from. Actually a good book, a bit disturbing in some places.
